Sizeable

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026

SUMMARY

Sizeable has no user accounts and does not ask for personal details. Your results, streak, statistics and settings are stored on your device.

We collect a limited amount of anonymous diagnostic and usage information so we can fix crashes and understand how the game is played. To show how your score compares with everyone who played the same game today, the App also sends that game's score band, with no identifier, to a shared count. We do not use an advertising identifier, we do not track you across other apps or websites, we show no advertising, and we do not sell your information.

You can switch off diagnostic and usage collection at any time in the app, under Settings, Privacy, "Share diagnostics & usage", and stop sending scores to the ranking under Settings, Privacy, "Count my score in today's ranking".

This summary is for convenience only. The sections below govern.

1. WHO WE ARE

Sizeable (the "App") is published by NorthLoop AI LLC ("we", "us", "our"), which is the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

Contact: info@northloopai.com

This policy applies to the Sizeable iOS application. It does not apply to any third-party website or service you may reach from the App.

2. NO ACCOUNT IS REQUIRED

The App does not offer user accounts. We do not ask for and do not collect your name, email address, postal address, telephone number, date of birth, contacts, photographs, location, or access to your camera or microphone.

3. INFORMATION STORED ONLY ON YOUR DEVICE

The following is held locally on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is deleted when you delete the App:

  • The daily and genre games you have played, your guesses and your scores
  • Your streak, statistics, level, badges and size-sense profile
  • Which genre game you picked today and how many practice rounds you have played today
  • Your app preferences, such as units, sounds, haptics, typing mode and reminder time

4. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Where you have not switched off diagnostic and usage collection, we and our service providers collect the following categories of information:

Diagnostic information. Crash reports and related technical data, including device model, operating system version, and technical details about the state of the App when a problem occurred. Purpose: to identify and correct faults. Provider: Google (Firebase Crashlytics).

Usage information. Events describing how the App is used, such as when a daily game is started and finished, how close each guess was in broad bands (never the guess itself), whether a result was shared, whether a past puzzle was played or a streak restored, which onboarding steps were seen, whether the subscription screen was displayed and a purchase or restore followed, whether reminders were offered and accepted, and whether a rating request was shown. Purpose: to understand how the App is used and to improve puzzles and design. Provider: Google (Firebase Analytics).

Device identifiers. A pseudonymous application instance identifier generated by our analytics provider, together with an identifier assigned by your device to apps from the same developer. Purpose: to distinguish devices for the purposes described above. These identifiers are not linked to your identity and are not used for advertising.

Configuration. The App fetches configuration values from Google (Firebase Remote Config) so that we can adjust some of its behaviour without an update. To do so it sends an installation identifier and basic technical information, such as the App version and device type. This happens whether or not diagnostic and usage collection is switched on, because it is how the App receives its settings; it does not include usage events.

Today's ranking. When you finish a game of the current day, the App sends the puzzle day, the game (the main daily or a genre) and the 10-point band your score falls in (for example, 340 to 349) to Google Cloud Firestore, where it is added to that game's count of players per band, and then reads the counts back to show how your score compares with today's other players. Nothing identifying you or your device is sent or stored with it, and each band is kept only as a running total, never as an individual record. Like any connection over the internet, the request carries your IP address, which Google uses to deliver it; we do not store it. This happens whether or not diagnostic and usage collection is switched on, because it is part of how the game works; you can stop sending your score as described in Section 7. Provider: Google (Cloud Firestore).

Purchase information. If you buy Sizeable Plus, Apple processes the payment. We do not receive or store your payment card details. We use RevenueCat to determine whether your purchase is active; RevenueCat receives your App Store purchase information and an anonymous identifier assigned to your device.

5. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT

We do not collect your exact guesses or any text you type. We do not collect an advertising identifier; the App does not include Apple's advertising framework, which is why you are not shown an app tracking permission request. We do not collect precise or approximate location.

6. NO ADVERTISING, NO TRACKING, NO SALE OF INFORMATION

We do not display advertising and we do not work with advertising networks. We do not track you across applications or websites operated by other companies. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are used in applicable United States privacy laws. We do not engage in profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

7. YOUR CHOICES

You may switch off diagnostic and usage collection at any time in the App, under Settings, Privacy, "Share diagnostics & usage". Doing so stops the diagnostic and usage collection described in Section 4 and deletes such information that is held on your device waiting to be sent.

You may stop sending your scores to today's ranking at any time in the App, under Settings, Privacy, "Count my score in today's ranking". The App will still show how your score compares with the counts sent by other players.

Deleting the App removes the information described in Section 3.

Your device also provides system-level privacy controls, including controls over what information your device shares with Apple and with app developers.

8. NOTIFICATIONS

Reminders are optional and are scheduled locally on your device. We do not operate a push notification service and cannot send messages to your device. You may grant or revoke notification permission at any time in your device settings.

9. LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING

Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on:

  • Your consent, for the diagnostic and usage collection described in Section 4, which you may withdraw at any time using the in-app control
  • Performance of a contract, for processing necessary to make a purchase available to you
  • Our legitimate interests in maintaining the security, integrity and proper functioning of the App, including delivering its configuration and today's ranking, where those interests are not overridden by your rights

10. RETENTION

We retain information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Diagnostic and usage information is retained in accordance with our providers' standard retention settings, which are subject to change and which we periodically review. The ranking counts described in Section 4 are aggregate totals that contain no information about any individual, and may be kept as statistics. Records relating to purchases are retained for as long as necessary to support the purchase and to comply with our tax, accounting and legal obligations.

11. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Our service providers process information on servers located in the United States and other countries. Where information is transferred out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, that transfer is made under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.

12. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal information, to receive a copy of it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent. You may also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.

Because the App has no accounts, we do not hold information that identifies you by name and we are generally unable to associate the information described in Section 4 with a particular individual. Where we cannot identify you from the information we hold, applicable law may not require us to act on a request, and we may ask you for information that would allow us to identify the relevant records. The most effective way to exercise your rights is to switch off diagnostic and usage collection and to delete the App.

To make a request, contact info@northloopai.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

13. CHILDREN

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact info@northloopai.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

14. SERVICE PROVIDERS

We use the following providers, each of which processes information on our behalf or, where applicable, as an independent controller:

The sizes in the App come with the public sources they were taken from. The App does not contact those sources during play. If you choose to open a source link, your browser connects to that third-party website and the operator's own privacy policy applies.

15. SECURITY

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the limited nature of the information we handle, and information transmitted by the App is sent over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

16. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where required by law, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the App after a change takes effect indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
